Chiyoda Almana Engineering proudly sponsored the 16th Japanese Speech Contest, among other Japanese companies working in Qatar, held at Qatar University on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Organized by the Embassy of Japan in Qatar in cooperation with the Japanese Language Teachers Association of Qatar (JALTAQ), the event provided a platform for Japanese language learners in Qatar to showcase their linguistic skills and cultural appreciation.

The annual speech contest serves as an excellent opportunity for both Qatari nationals and expatriates to demonstrate the results of their dedication to learning the Japanese language. Participants delivered impressive speeches in Japanese, reflecting their passion for the language and culture. The event attracted students, educators, and dignitaries, fostering cross-cultural exchange between Japan and Qatar.

As a strong advocate for cultural and educational initiatives under the umbrella of company CSR program, Chiyoda Almana Engineering was honored to support this prestigious event. Mr. Togashi, Managing Director of Chiyoda Almana Engineering, had the privilege of presenting the prize to the winner of 3rd Place in Category A of the competition, recognizing the participant’s outstanding achievement in Japanese language proficiency.
