In a strong display of environmental stewardship and community engagement, Chiyoda Almana Engineering LLC successfully organized its annual Beach Cleaning Activity at Al Wakrah Public Beach, in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning.

This year’s initiative brought together Chiyoda Almana employees and their families, uniting them under a shared commitment to sustainability and environmental care. The event is part of the company’s long-standing Corporate Social Responsibility program and is held annually to commemorate the company’s establishment day, a tradition that began in 2008.

Participants collected plastic waste, discarded fishing gear, and other debris, working together to preserve the natural beauty of Al Wakrah’s coastline and promote marine ecosystem health. Children and families also took part in educational sessions on environmental awareness, reinforcing the importance of community-driven conservation.

Mr. Seiichiro Togashi, Managing Director of Chiyoda Almana, expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic turnout: “We are proud to continue this meaningful tradition, which not only strengthens our bond with the local community but also reflects our core values of sustainability and social responsibility. Partnering with the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has made this initiative even more impactful.”

Chiyoda Almana’s annual beach clean-up stands as a testament to its enduring commitment to creating a greener and cleaner future for Qatar, aligning with the nation’s National Vision 2030 goals.
