The Embassy of Japan in Qatar in collaboration with Japanese Language Teachers Association in Qatar (JALTAQ) organized the 14th Japanese Speech Contest at Qatar University premises.
At the event, 15 participants have competed in three categories of language proficiency that range between beginners to advanced.
Chiyoda Almana among other Japanese companies operating in Qatar, held the sponsorship of the event.
A winner was selected by the formed judging panel in each category and Mr. Toshikazu Hirobe, Managing Director of Chiyoda Almana Engineering handed the company’s gift to the winner of Category A.
The event comes as one of many activities and events organized by Japan Embassy in Qatar to further strengthening the relationship between Qatar and Japan in cultural and educational sectors.
Mr. Hirobe comment on the event saying “Chiyoda Almana Engineering is proud of the continued collaboration with Japan Embassy in Qatar for many years for the organization of Japanese Speech Contest. We highly appreciate the given opportunity as a leading local project lifecycle services provider, to support initiatives that contribute to culture exchange and development of human resources in Qatar in line with Qatar National Vision 2030”.
Chiyoda Almana is very keen to support this kind of events and has concluded a partnership with many educational and cultural institutions in Qatar to promote culture exchange under the umbrella of company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
