Chiyoda Almana Engineering was recognized among other 80 employers by Qatar University (QU) during an Employer Recognition Ceremony organized by the university to express appreciation and gratitude for employers’ efforts in supporting university students.
During the recognition ceremony Dr. Hasan Al-Derham, President of QU addressed a message to express the importance of cooperation and partnership between QU and private and government employers to achieve university plans and goals.
Mr. Toshikazu Hirobe, Managing Director of Chiyoda Almana, represented the company at the event and received the award on behalf of Chiyoda Almana from Dr. Hasan. Mr. Hirobe commented on the event saying that “We are so proud of QU recognition for our partnership, and we intend to maintain and grow this relation with QU and other educational institutions as part of our commitment to empower and support the next generations during their development and knowledge growing journey”.
Since its’ establishment (14 years ago) Chiyoda Almana started the partnership with QU, other universities, and educational institutions in Qatar to extend its support to human resources development and contribute to sustainable development of the State of Qatar in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
Chiyoda Almana as a leading local project’s services provider in energy sector and other industrial sectors has completed over 450 projects in Qatar, since its establishment in 2008 by Chiyoda Corporation of Japan and Almana Trading Group.
Over the years Chiyoda Almana has given priority and focus to establish partnership with several governmental and international organizations in Qatar to conduct educational, health, environmental and other initiatives as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program (CSR). Company’s CSR Program is mainly inspired by the corporate philosophy of Chiyoda Corporation that aims for harmony between energy and the environment and contribute to the sustainable development of society as an integrated engineering company using company’s collective wisdom and painstakingly developed technology.
