Collaboration with Educational Institutions in Qatar to Enrich the
Learning Experience
Participation at Universities’ Career Fairs

During the month of February 2019, Chiyoda Almana was
represented at both major Universities’ Career Fairs for students in
Qatar.
First was the Education City Career Fair that was during 5-6
February which included all international universities at Qatar
Education City under the umbrella of Qatar Foundation such as
Texas A & M, Georgetown, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon and
Virginia Commonwealth.
Second was the Qatar University Career Fair that was conducted
during 18 – 21 February, where students from all university
colleges visited the fair to discuss the available opportunities of
employment, sponsorship and internship from almost 70
companies.
During the two events, Chiyoda Almana has offered Internship
program opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students to
support their capabilities and build up a strong base for their future
career. The program started many years back and more than 70
students have benefited from the program over the years.
The Internship program was offered to students with different majors such as Engineering, Finance & Accounting,

Information Technology, etc. During over 10 years of local operation in Qatar, Chiyoda Almana built and maintained strong
ties with education institutions in the country with the focus on contribution to Qatar capability development and knowledge
transfer in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030 for human resources development.

Knowledge Transfer to the Future Engineers
Chiyoda Almana’s recognition during the Thank You event organized by
Qatar University, College of Engineering
On 9 January 2019, Chiyoda Almana participated in the Thank-You
event organized by Qatar University, College of Engineering to
recognize the company’s remarkable contribution to enrich the
learning experiences of university students through the Summer
Internship Program.
Prof. Hamoda, Dean of College of Engineering, expressed his
appreciation to Chiyoda Almana and other involved companies for
the continued cooperation with College of Engineering.
