Sponsorship of the 11 Japanese Speech Contest in Qatar

On 09 March 2019, “The 11 Japanese Speech Contest in Qatar”
th
was held at Qatar University, organized by the Embassy of Japan,
Qatar University and the Japanese Language Teachers’ Association
in Qatar (JALTAQ). 187 of Japanese language learners in Qatar had
an opportunity to present their language skills on different levels.
Chiyoda Almana was one of the major sponsors of the cultural event.
Chiyoda Almana support the cultural exchange and diversity activities
as part of its commitment to social development. Mr. Junji Nagasaka,
Managing Director of Chiyoda Almana presented the company’s gift
to one of the winners. The event is remarkable cultural initiative that
promotes cultural exchange.
Assistance to Natural Disaster’s Survivals
Donation to the Distress Relief Fund in Kerla, South of Indian
On 8 August 2018, severe floods affected the south Indian state of
Kerala, due to unusually high rainfall during the monsoon season. It
was the worst flood in Kerala in nearly a century. Over 483 people
died. Chiyoda Almana Collected donation from company employees
and transferred the amount of QR. 20,681 (US $ 5,682) to “The Chief
Minister's Distress Relief Fund” program which is operated by the
Indian Government Principal Secretary (Finance). The fund program
is to help the affected people to rebuild their lives. Chiyoda Almana
joins other companies and organizations from all over the world in
supporting global aid programs to support the affected of such natural
calamities.
