Chiyoda Almana Engineering, a leading local player in the Oil & Gas engineering sector, has successfully launched its annual Summer Internship Program, welcoming university students from various academic institutions across Qatar. The two-month program forms a key part of the company’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, aimed at empowering the next generation of engineers and energy professionals.

This year’s intake brought together students from diverse nationalities and disciplines, reflecting the multicultural landscape of Qatar’s academic and professional community. The interns gained hands-on exposure to the dynamic Oil & Gas engineering industry, working alongside seasoned professionals on live projects, and receiving mentorship tailored to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.

Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Togashi, Managing Director of Chiyoda Almana said: “At Chiyoda Almana, we believe in investing in youth and supporting the sustainable development of human capital in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. Our summer internship program not only provides students with practical industry experience but also reinforces our commitment to fostering diversity, innovation, and knowledge-sharing within the energy sector.”

The program is designed to cover multiple areas of engineering, project management, health, safety& quality, and sustainability practices, ensuring that students are exposed to the company’s holistic approach to delivering world-class energy solutions. Beyond technical training, the internship emphasizes the development of soft skills, teamwork, and professional ethics, equipping students with the tools to excel in their future careers.

By continuing its summer internship program, now in its second decade, Chiyoda Almana reaffirms its commitment to supporting not only the Qatar’s energy sector but also the broader social and economic vision of the State of Qatar.
