Chiyoda Almana Engineering Company celebrated its “Foundation Day Anniversary” by conducting a Beach Cleaning Campaign in co-ordination with the Ministry of Municipality & Urban Planning at Al Thakhira Beach in Al Khor over the weekend.
Shizuka Ikawa, Managing Director of Chiyoda Amana, and about 200 company employees and their family members participated in the activity.
Ikawa said, “Chiyoda Almana is always committed to protecting and preserving the local environment and works in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 to ensure harmony between its commercial activities and the protection of the environment.”
Chiyoda Almana has been conducting this beach cleaning campaign for the past four years as its contribution to Qatar’s efforts towards environment. Its Corporate Social Responsibility programmes include partnership with universities in Qatar, blood donation campaigns, and supporting Qatari human resource’s development through the provision of technical training in Japan.
