Chiyoda Almana, a leading local project services provider in Qatar, celebrated the graduation of internship students after completing two months Summer Internship Program at company’s office.

In line with Qatar National Vision 2030, Chiyoda Almana provides the Summer Internship Program for the last 10 years as part of the company’s efforts to support local human resources development in collaboration with national & international universities in the country (such as Qatar University, Texas A & M, etc.)

Through this internship program, Chiyoda Almana offers comprehensive information & knowledge to universities’ students and fresh graduates about several project services and project engineering in oil & gas sector through hand in work opportunity that allow them to experience the real work environment and interact with the experienced company’s experts.

Summer Internship Program, with many other training opportunities, are offered by Chiyoda Almana to students, graduates and junior candidates as part of company’s social responsibility program which focus on adding value to the society in Qatar through our business practice and contributing efficiently to sustainable development of Qatar.

During the program closing ceremony Mr. Hirobe, Managing Director of Chiyoda Almana commented saying “It is our great pleasure to receive the university students every year and to see them harmonizing and progressing in our company’s work environment. Our team do their best to support the students through their learning journey and we are so proud of the positive feedback we receive from the students after the program completion. We intend to continue this program and maintain our collaboration with educational institutions in Qatar”

Chiyoda Almana was established in 2008 by Chiyoda Corporation, a leading Japanese Project Life Cycle Engineering services provider worldwide, together with local Qatar partner, Almana Trading Company, to provide a local project lifecycle delivery capability to the LNG and other industrial sectors in Qatar.

The company executed more than 400 projects those varies between engineering-only to full EPC / EPCm in the fields of LNG, oil & gas, petrochemicals and environment, serving major energy operators in Qatar.
