The 10th Annual Japanese Speech Contest was organized by the Japanese Embassy in Doha, Qatar University and the Japanese Teachers’ Association in Qatar.
More than 20 participants of various ages and professions competed to show their fluency and eloquence in the Japanese language.
Chiyoda Almana was represented at the event as one of the Key Sponsors for the second year running.
Mr. Tanemura, Deputy Managing Director of Chiyoda Almana, presented company gifts to some of the winners in the presence of H.E. Ambassador of Japan in Qatar, representatives from other Japanese companies and Qatar University.
The event was marked by attendance of a huge number of Japanese residents in Qatar and non-Japanese who have big interest in Japanese language & culture.
Chiyoda Almana continually supports cultural exchange and educational activities in Qatar as part of the company’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
