Chiyoda Almana Engineering marked International Women’s Day with a medical seminar for its female employees in co-operation with Hamad Medical Corporation’s Women Hospital.
Dr Afaf al-Ansari, Senior Consultant OB/GYN Gynaecological Oncologist and Minimal Invasive Surgery at Women’s Hospital, delivered the seminar that was titled “Leading Healthy Lifestyle and Cancer Awareness”.
Dr Afaf talked about healthy eating and how to maintain a balanced lifestyle to protect against many kinds of cancer that can affect women. The employees were also advised to get regular medical check-ups done and check for unusual changes in their bodies.
The seminar was attended by more than 40 women and included a question-answer session.
