Chiyoda Almana participated at the GECF Workshop on
Promotion of Natural Gas Demand

Mr. Koichi Tanemura, Deputy Managing Director of Chiyoda Almana, participated as a Panelist at the workshop
organized by Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) on 16 December 2019.

The Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) is an international governmental organization which provides the
framework for exchanging experience and information among Member Countries.

GECF is a gathering of the world’s leading gas producers and was set up as international governmental
organization with the objective to increase the level of coordination and strengthen the collaboration among
Member countries.

The organized workshop was attended by CEOs of GECF NOCs, Presidents and Secretary Generals of
International Organizations (IGU, ASEAN, ERIA), big consumers, Companies, Consultants and Universities.

Mr. Tanemura was part of the panel discussion about “Enablers for Natural Gas Demand Stimulation:
Current status, what are the challenges, opportunities & through which instruments?” and discussed
overview and drivers of the energy industry, Effects of improvement by Energy Efficiency, engineering /
technological advancements Chiyoda offers in LNG production including usage of AI/ Big Data &
technological advancement in Flare Reduction.

The workshop was a valuable opportunity for network, exchange ideas, share thoughts among LNG operators,
producers, contactors and consumers.
