Respect for Human Rights
Chiyoda Almana remark the National Sports Day
In line with Qatar Vision 2030, and based on guidelines
set by Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC),
Chiyoda Almana firmly believes that dignified living and
working conditions are essential to unlocking human
potential and indispensable to its mission of raising the
quality of life for all.
On second Tuesday of February every year, Qatar
celebrates the National Sports Day. In accordance with
the national event, Chiyoda Almana organized various
sports activities for its employees and their family
members including Fun Walk, Dart, Golf, Chess and
Carom, Basketball, Badminton, Fishing, Cricket, etc.
The organized activities aimed to promote sports and
to educate company employees on ways to reduce
health risks associated with an inactive lifestyle, such as
coronary heart disease and diabetes.
The day is also viewed as an opportunity to bring
communities closer together through sport, based on
the sporting principles of team building, inclusion and
unity, participation, fitness and health.
