Social Contribution through Business Activities

Support & Liaison with the Education Institutions: Summer
Internship Program to University Students

A number of students from several universities in Qatar, have completed the Summer Internship Program
organized by Chiyoda Almana Engineering for this year. As leading project services company, Chiyoda Almana,
is continually providing various training opportunities to universities’ students and fresh graduates to enable the
knowledge transfer and to enrich their technical skills as part of their qualifying process for the successful start
of their career path.
Chiyoda Almana has continued this Summer Internship Program annually for the last 8 years in collaboration
with national and international universities in Qatar such as Qatar University and Texas A & M University.
Although the company’s services are mainly focused on engineering, but the internship opportunities are also
extended to include students of Finance, Accounting, Information Technology and others.
Over the two-months extended Summer Program (June & July), 9 participants had the opportunity to practice in
a professional business environment and to carry out the daily work tasks assigned for them, hand in hand with
company’s employees under the supervision of the highly experienced dedicated mentors.

The program also offered participants the chance for practical exercise related to the topics studied through the
academic program. Such business practice shall serve great value to fresh graduates at the early stages of real
business life.
The Summer Internship Program comes as one of the many training opportunities provided by Chiyoda Almana
to support the human resources development in Qatar in order to achieve the targeted sustainable
development of the country, in line with QNV 2030.
