• Annual Beach Cleaning Campaign

On 03 March 2022, Chiyoda Almana Engineering remarked the company’s establishment day by organizing
its 10th Beach Cleaning Activity in collaboration with Ministry of Municipality in Qatar.
Several company’s employees and their family members participated at the beach cleaning activity conduct-
ed at Al Khoor Beach near Gate 2 of Ras Laffan Industrial City to show their appreciation to the environment
in Qatar.
Big number of wastes bags were filed with several waste items such as wood, plastic bottles, glasses, ropes,
metals, etc.

Mr. Hirobe Toshikazu, Managing Director of Chiyoda Almana addressed a word to event participants saying
that “I am very proud that we were able to continue the beach cleaning activity consequently for 10 years
and I am happy to see our employees and their families participating in this event from the sense of respon-
sibility and appreciation to the clean and beautiful beaches in Qatar”
Chiyoda Almana as a local company operates in Qatar has two strong drives towards environmental issues;
first is the inspiration by the Chiyoda Corporation Group Philosophy ‘Energy and Environment in Harmony’.
Where all Chiyoda Group companies, including Chiyoda Almana, work with business partners to enhance
our business in aiming for harmony between energy and the environment. Second, is to contribute to the
sustainable development of a society as an integrated engineering company through the use of our collec-
tive experience and developed technology.

Furthermore, Chiyoda Almana conducts various environmental initiatives under company Corporate Social
Responsibility Program in collaboration with various governmental authorities and institutions to support
Qatar sustainable development in line with QNV 2030.
